I LOVE when someone asks me to paint a beloved family member, treasured pet, or their family home in oil. We start by making some decisions that include time, frame, size, and the amount of money they want to spend including tax and shipping. The work can be done in 1 -3 months and the collector is involved throughout the process by approving progress photos (such as those above) and giving their input about color and details. Some collectors choose to pay the entire agreed upon amount up front otherwise, I offer the option of a $500. deposit with an additional agreed upon amount halfway through the process and the remainder due upon completion. Satisfaction can be guaranteed because the art patron is involved and approving the work throughout the process of the painting.
